Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Nexy: the web app, the mobile apps and the connected channels. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Nexy.

Who can use Nexy

You must be at least 16 years old, or older where the law of your country requires it. You may not use Nexy if sanctions or export laws of the EU, the US or your own country prohibit it. You register with your phone number, which is your identity on Nexy: keep access to it and to your account secure, because you are responsible for what happens under your account.

The service

Nexy offers messaging, voice and video calls, and an AI assistant that transcribes, summarizes, plans and follows up. AI output can contain mistakes: recaps, transcripts and answers are a help, not a source of truth. Verify anything important before you act on it.

Your content

Everything you post remains yours. You grant us the licence we need to operate the service: storing, transmitting, transcribing and displaying your content to the people you shared it with, and processing it with our AI providers to deliver the features you use. We do not sell your content and do not use it to train public AI models.

Acceptable use

Do not use Nexy for anything illegal, for harassment, hate or threats, for spam or scams, or to record people in ways the law does not allow. In public spaces such as city pulses, Nexy screens content and may refuse or remove what breaks these rules. We may suspend accounts that structurally break them.

Recording

Calls and real-life meetings can be recorded and transcribed. You are responsible for making sure everyone present knows about and, where required by law, consents to the recording.

Plans, usage and payments

Nexy is free to use. The free plan includes a monthly usage allowance for the assistant. Paid plans (Nexy 3×, 5× and 20×) give a larger allowance per billing period. The allowance is reset in full at the start of every period; unused allowance does not carry over. Usage is metered by the work the assistant does for you (transcription, summaries, answers and tasks), and the exact size of an allowance can be tuned over time; we announce changes before they apply to you.

You can buy a one-time top-up that adds to your allowance. Top-ups never expire, are used only after the allowance of the current period has run out, and are not refundable once delivered. By buying a top-up you ask us to deliver it immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends at that moment.

On the website, paid plans and top-ups are billed through Stripe. In the iOS and Android apps they are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play; those purchases are governed by the store's terms, and cancellations, restores and refunds go through the store. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and periods already started are not refunded. An upgrade takes effect right away; a downgrade takes effect at the start of your next period.

Prices may include local taxes and can change; we announce changes before they apply to you. Plans bought under earlier names (such as Pro or Team Pulse) keep their terms until they end or until we notify you of a change.

Domain registrations

You can register domain names through Nexy. Registrations are executed by our registrar partner and are subject to the registry's and ICANN's policies. A domain registration is final once submitted and cannot be refunded. You must provide accurate registrant details and are responsible for renewing on time; we will remind you, but an expired domain can be lost or become expensive to recover.

Connected channels

If you connect WhatsApp or Telegram, you remain responsible for complying with their terms of service. Those platforms can change or restrict their APIs, which may affect the connection; that is outside our control.

Ending the relationship

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and may modify or discontinue parts of the service; if we discontinue something you paid for, we will refund the unused part of your paid period.

Liability

Nexy is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We can update these terms; for meaningful changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes are settled by the competent court in the Netherlands. If you use Nexy as a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live: nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
